"How long are the charters/trips?"
Theoretically they can be as long or short as you desire.  We recommend one week at the very least.  Ten days or two weeks is preferable.  Contact us with your scheduling constraints or concerns and we will help you to come up with a solution that works for you.

"What parts of Greece can we go to?"
As you may have noticed, at Aegean Blue we focus on the Argo-Saronic area.  It's our specialty.  This does not mean that other parts of Greece are off limits.  Variables like charter duration, weather conditions, and customer experience-level factor into the possibility of sailing to other destinations.  Feel free to contact us to discuss other options.

"Do we stop in ports/towns every day?"
For the most part we will be in a port or town every night, arriving in the afternoon and sometimes earlier.  Having said that, part of the fun of traveling by yacht is ability to spend some nights out at anchor in a bay of our choice.  Usually we do some of both.

"Can we cook on the boat or do we eat our meals on shore?"
The boat has a full galley (kitchen) with a refrigerator, ice box, stove, and sink area.  Breakfasts, lunches, and dinners can all be prepared on board.  Of course part of the experience of being in Greece is sampling the wonderful local cuisine at the different destinations we go to.  Most groups easily find a balance between preparing meals on board and eating out in tavernas.

"What if we don't know how to sail?"
No problem!  The boat is easily and often sailed by the skipper alone.  Mark is also more than happy to teach what he knows and get people as involved as they want to be.

"Can we bring kids?"
Yes.  These trips are a wonderful experience for kids of all ages.

"Is there SCUBA equipment on board?"
No.  There are masks, snorkels, and swim fins on board.  Some locations we stop at have SCUBA centers where you can rent equipment and go diving with a boat and a guide, etc.

"Where is Alimos Marina?  How far is it from Athens?"
Alimos Marina is located in the municipality of Alimos, 15 KM south of the Athens city center and 8 KM south of Piraeus.  The suburban seaside town of Kalamaki is also located within the municipality and sometimes the two names are used interchangeably.  It's about a 10-15 minute cab ride from Athens' city center to the marina depending on traffic.
